Assiette aux papillons en porcelaine de la province d'Arita. Née au XVIIème siècle pour l'Europe, pressée à la main en pâte fine. Les bleus et le vert sont sous glaçure, l'émaillage est très dur, la bordure dentelée. Elle est en très bon état. Diamètre 22 cm.

This scalloped plate has been made by the famous Imari manufacture during the beginning of the 17th century. The hand painting pattern has a great color of Imari, the blue and green are under glaze, the fine paste is hand pressed and moulded easily discernible to the touch. Good condition, no chip, no crack, no hairline or repair, it rings very well. 8"1/2 diameter.
