Antique french solid brass sad iron with sliding door for ingot (missing) and wooden handle made late 19th century. 7 1/2" (19cm) length, 4 1/4" (11cm) width, 5 1/2" (14cm) height, weight 3lbs 8.22oz (1.594 kilogram). Beautiful condition the ingot is missing as shown by the following pictures.
